Biologist John Zachary Young was born March 18, 1907.  He wrote The Anatomy of the Nervous System of Octopus vulgaris in 1971, which the above illustration is not from.  I couldn’t find any pictures from it, so this is from Ernest Haeckel.

“Seventies funkadelic extravaganza” this is was Vogue.com had to say of this years MK show and that was putting it mildly. A huge amount of preparation went into the hair look in the weeks running up to their show, and even so it was pretty crazy backstage, but the final look was so incredible it was all well worth it.

Burberry
I worked with the wonderful Neil Moodie and his team on the Burberry Prorsum show in Kensington Gardens. The hair was very subtle and natural, with a very soft wave through the ends.

Jonathan Saunders

I worked on this show alongside Paul Hanlon’s team. The show took place on the 19th floor of the Broadgate Tower, which has a panoramic view over London. The hair was polished and pure, sleek low ponytails bound with black elastic.

Eudon Choi - with Chi Wong

For this show most of the models were wearing beautifully crafted, beaded and soft leather aviator hats. Underneath the hair reflected that. Parted in the centre, we gelled it flat to the head through the roots (to give it a hat hair look) and then left the ends wavy with a dry texture.
